Police told the Stamford Advocate that at around 5 p.m. Tuesday an officer saw the homeless man break the windshield of the car with a traffic cone. The car was an Uber that had arrived at an office building on Summer Street to pick someone up, the Stamford Advocate reported.
The homeless man, identified as 30-year-old Mohamed Boumazzaourn, said that the car had tried to run him over, but the officer disputed this claim, according to the Stamford Advocate. Boumazzourn was charged with breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief, according to the Stamford Advocate.
